Ken Paxton said the quiet part out loud
Ken Paxton said the quiet part out loud.
He admitted that the only thing saving his campaign is the super PACs bailing him out. You can see it for yourself:

Look, it’s no surprise that Ken Paxton is thrilled that super PACs exist. He’s got a history of letting billionaires save his career — just like when Tim Dunn, the billionaire Christian Nationalist from west Texas, spent $3 million to stop Republicans from convicting Ken Paxton in his impeachment trial.
In this race, Ken Paxton is happy to keep letting his billionaire and corporate mega-donors do the talking on his behalf.
And they can do a whole lot of talking with the nearly $170 million they’re spending against us. The only way to stop them from drowning us out is with a huge number of grassroots donations. Please consider making a contribution before tomorrow’s FEC deadline to help us fight back.
After Elon Musk started dumping millions into Texas this month to defeat us, Ken Paxton doubled down on his support for data centers — even saying there’s “plenty of open space in Texas.” Just what Elon wants to hear.
It’s why he refuses to debate me. After his campaign committed to debating in July, his handlers stopped responding to the Texas media outlets organizing debates.
Even Fox News agreed earlier today to host the debate I offered, but Ken Paxton’s campaign refuses to respond.
The truth is, national Republicans and Paxton’s handlers all agreed with President Trump when he said, “[Ken Paxton] may not dress right, he may not talk exactly perfectly, and he may not be the best-looking guy I’ve ever seen.”
They all know that the only path to victory is to keep Paxton hidden away at one of his 15 homes — and let super PACs do all the talking instead.
I refuse to let them buy this race. If you’re with me, I am asking you to consider making a contribution before tomorrow’s FEC deadline. We need every dollar we can get to close the spending gap and take back Texas.
