A little bit of hope is a dangerous thing

Texas was built by hope. By people who had no business believing — but believed anyway.

I’ve always believed in the promise of the Lone Star State. I was raised by hard workers who believe in the promise of our state and of our country.

My folks, like so many Texans, dreamed of — and worked for — a world that would give our kids more than us.

We didn’t have much, but we had a whole lot of hope, and a whole lot of love — for each other and for our neighbors.

But this campaign isn’t about me. It’s always been about you. This movement is about us — coming together to take back power for the people who make this state and this country great.

So I wanted to share a new video we made that captures my love for Texas — and my hope for our future. From day one, this campaign has been rooted in love — loving all of our neighbors.

So if you want to feel a little bit of hope in these final two weeks, I’d encourage you to take a few minutes to watch this video. I think you’ll find it captures the spirit of this state and our movement.

To every Texan who’s ever wondered if anyone in power is paying attention: We are taking our state back.

Because a little bit of hope is a dangerous thing.

The people at the top are spending obscene amounts of dark money against us to buy this race. While we wish what we have already raised were enough, we don’t have the resources to reach every voter we need to win yet.

If taking back Texas is worth a small contribution to you, please consider chipping in to support our movement today.
