We are getting pummeled

Texas PAC — the super PAC run by Senate Republicans and bankrolled by Elon Musk — just dropped another $32.4 million into Texas.

Shortly after, MAGA Inc. doubled down with $8 million more to bail out Ken Paxton.

The truth is, national Republicans are drastically outspending us. We’re getting pummeled on TV and online in Texas.

Almost any Texan can tell you that it’s hard to turn on the TV or go online without some dark money ad telling people how terrible I am.

So here’s the deal: We need to keep closing the spending gap. We set a goal yesterday to get another 50,000 donations by the end of today — when we will gather to make spending decisions on how to counter the latest round of ads.

If winning this race is important to you, I hope you’ll consider using this link to make one of those donations: JamesTalarico.com/spending-deadline

This is an all-hands-on-deck moment heading into the final week of early voting.

More than half of the votes in Texas are typically cast before Election Day, and tonight, we’re wiring the money to pay for the ads we need to run in the final week of early voting.

I promise you that we will put every dollar to work to win this race. It’s important to me that we are good stewards of your money because it is a big deal to put your trust in a political campaign.

The fact that Texas is in play and on the verge of flipping is a testament to your support. We have put every donation to work to be in a strong position today. It also means every dollar we raised last week has already been spent.

That is what it takes to fend off the record-breaking sums national Republicans are spending against us.

So I am humbly asking: Please make a donation to help us fight back against the attacks coming at us. We’re short of our goal heading into tonight’s spending decisions, so I’m really hoping we can get a surge of support before our wiring deadline.
