An ungodly amount of money
On Friday, Texas’ U.S. Senate race became the most expensive non-presidential election in American history.
It happened right after an Elon Musk-funded super PAC and Trump’s MAGA Inc. added about $40 million more in spending against us.

It’s an ungodly amount of money, and you can see Republicans have been outspending us by a landslide. There are so many better things we could do with that money if billionaire and corporate mega-donors weren’t hellbent on buying politicians to protect their wealth and power.
I am doing everything I can to stop them from buying this seat, and if you are with me, I would be grateful if you could add a contribution today.
No American looks at this obscene spending and believes this system is working for them. And I hear from Texans every day how all this money is actively making them miserable every time they turn on the TV or go online.
It’s even crazier when you consider Elon Musk is personally bankrolling the overwhelming majority of the super PAC spending against us.
The only reason that we haven’t been completely wiped off the map is because people like you have stepped up to have my back. More than 1.5 million people are funding this movement vs. the richest man in the world.
And the spending against us keeps rolling in. The good news is that we don’t have to match them dollar for dollar. We just need to stay competitive to hold our advantage and turn out as many of our supporters as we can.
I intend to win this race. I know we can, but it will require more resources than we’ve currently raised because we’re spending more than we are raising every day at this point.
Thank you for your support. We’re almost to the finish line. Just over a week to go, and if each of us gives this fight everything we can — whether that’s donating, volunteering, talking to your friends in Texas, or helping however you can — we will win.
